We collect funds and send volunteers to work on Habitat for Humanity homes in the Fort Worth area. We are currently getting ready for another Habitat home build starting in September of 2010.

Food Drives
Several times each year, Holy Shepherd members hold food drives for local charities. We have helped the Open Arms home for abused women and immigrant families settling in Dallas.
Annual Hurricane Rebuilding Trip
Every year, we travel to an area of the country damaged by recent storms. We work alongside homeowners helping them to rebuild their homes. We have been to New Orleans, LA; Port Arthur, TX and Galveston, TX. Our next trip will likely occur in May 2011.
