Activities
HSLC youth and their friends are invited to attend all of our activities. For a complete list of activities, visit the calendar section of this website. Our youth are involved in everything from the study of God’s word to retreats to paintball to mission projects. Pictures of our events can be found on our website’s photo gallery. Confirmation
Confirmation is a two-year period of instruction for youth that begins in 7th grade. Confirmands study the various teachings of the the Bible and have the opportunity to ask the pastor questions about the Christian faith. We go on various social outings and also do some outreach events to the community (like serve the homeless at the Union Gospel Mission). Confirmation students memorize several dozen scripture verses along with other articles of faith during their period of study. It is our desire that all youth be prepared to “give an answer to everyone who asks…for a reason reason for the hope that is in you!” (1 Peter 3:15).
